March 11
School bag, purse stolen
9:30 p.m. — First Block of Plaza Drive. Larceny Motor Vehicle. Police responded to a restaurant in reference to two car break-ins. A young employee told deputies an unknown person unlawfully entered his vehicle sometime during his shift.
The passenger window was smashed, and the young man’s brown school bag — and three college textbooks and two calculators, totaling $205 — were missing.
Another employee was victimized in the same manner. Missing from her vehicle was a Dooney & Bourke purse worth $400 and a Dooney & Bourke wallet worth $150. Also missing are the young woman’s driver’s license and debit cards.
Motorcycle tag missing
1:38 p.m. — First Block of Princess Luise Lane. Stolen Tag. A man advised police that the tag of his 1999 Gray Yamaha R1 was stolen. This victim was running errands and stopped at numerous locations around town. He did not observe anyone near his bike at the time of the incident. He also revisited the locations to see if the tag fell off at any point. He did not locate this tag, and deputies did not see evidence of forced removal. There are no suspects at this time.
March 12
Purple bicycle disappears
9:45 a.m. — First Block of Bracken Lane. Larceny. A woman told police that her bicycle was stolen sometime between 8 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. The victim’s purple Magna three-speed bicycle was stolen from the front of her garage.
The bicycle is worth approximately $100.
March 13
Flowerpot power
6 p.m. — First Block of Farmbrook Lane. Property Damage. A young man stated that he lives in an apartment. Between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. an unknown person threw a clay flowerpot through two of his windows. This man does not suspect that the unknown person gained entry into his apartment, and nothing was missing. There was no evidence collected from the scene, and there are no suspects.
March 15
Son’s homeless friend suspected
1:09 p.m. — 100 Block of Bird of Paradise Drive. Larceny. A woman told police that some of her belongings were missing from her residence. She believes that her son is removing the items from the residence so that his friend can pawn the items and buy drugs with the money.
The woman’s son advised that he did not take any of the property, but his friend stayed in his room at the residence for three days. He is unsure if the suspect removed any of the property. He also stated that this suspect is homeless and there is no way to contact him.
A 14k-white-gold and topaz peacock ring valued at $275 and a Pro Sportcycle System worth $50 were both stolen from the residence.

March 12
Empty hangars
5:57 p.m. — 1200 Block of Palm Coast Parkway Southwest. Larceny Shoplifting. A woman was seen selecting various items throughout a department store. She entered a fitting room with the items and as she left, it appeared she had fewer items in her hands than when she entered.
It was also noted that her purse seemed fuller. The loss-prevention officer informed deputies that this woman left multiple hangers in the fitting room and hid the clothing items in her purse. She also passed all points of sale and exited through the front doors. This woman was issued a notice to appear for retail theft and shoplifting.
