Richard “Robin” Foote, 76, of Jamestown (and formerly Quonochontaug) RI passed away March 17, 2026 after a brief illness. He was surrounded by the love and presence of his family. Robin was born in Windham CT, the third born of five children to Helen and Dick Foote and grew up in the close knit “Hill” neighborhood of Willimantic CT.
Robin was survived by his beloved wife Maryann (Bransford), and was the loving father of Dr. Christoper C. Foote, (Dr. Katie Foote) and the late Colin B. Foote. He was the adored brother of Amy Cerreto, Jackie Clark, Greg Foote and Laurie Roebuck .He was the cherished Grampa of William “Liam” Foote and Loretta “Lulu” Foote. Robin was also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Saturday June 13, 2026 at a Memorial Mass at Saint Mark Church, 60 Narragansett Ave, Jamestown, RI 02835 at 11:00 am. A “Celebration of Life” reception will follow at JB’s on the Water, 150 Conanicus Ave., Jamestown, RI 02835 from 12:00 - 4:00 pm.
