Anthony J. “Tony” Petras, 70, of Palm Coast / DeBary, passed away on June 6, 2026 at home. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Henry and Anna Petras. Tony was the beloved husband of Gail (Garrone) Petras, whom he married in 1976.
Tony worked as an electrical contractor for most of his life; the proud owner and operator of his own local business for 33 years. In his spare time, Tony enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Anthony Petras (Carolyn) of DeLand, his daughter, Angela Petras (Joe) of DeBary; 4 grandchildren, Tyler (Kim), Caleb (Ella), Cooper, and Aubrey; 3 great-grandchildren, Bradly, Davina, and Tessa; brothers Gregg Petras (Grayce) of NJ, and Joe Petras (Doreen) of FL; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Henry Petras.
