Flagler County officials advise motorists that the Florida Department of Transportation is implementing overnight closures from southbound Interstate 95 off ramp to U.S. 1 in Ormond Beach from Tuesday, July 14 through July 16 — and again on July 19, ending the morning of Tuesday, July 21.

Detour information: Motorists heading southbound on I-95 wanting to reach U.S. 1 should instead take Exit 278 for Old Dixie Highway and continue west for approximately 2.3 miles. At the roundabout, take the third exit to access southbound U.S. 1 and travel south on U.S. 1 for about 6.3 miles to reach the I-95 interchange.

FDOT said that detour signage will be posted. The work schedule is subject to change due to weather or other circumstances. Motorists should maintain a safe speed and avoid distractions.
