Flagler County Engineering and its consultant, Kimley-Horn and Associates, are hosting the first public meeting about Bulow Creek Headwaters Regional Park planning at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 4 at the Government Services Building.
“This meeting will provide an opportunity for us to share information that has been collected about the features of the property. There are some ideas and concepts that we will propose at this initial meeting,” said Flagler County Project Manager Amy Stroger. “This is a chance for residents to hear about the things we are considering, ask questions, and share their input. We will continue to provide additional opportunities for public input and involvement as the planning phase progresses.”
The park-in-progress is an existing 1,100-acre Flagler County preserve that includes a wide diversity of ecosystems along the headwaters of beautiful Bulow Creek. Proposed improvements include passive, resource- based recreation such as a paved multi-use trail and trailhead, unpaved trails, small fishing pier and kayak/canoe docks, and environmental education.
This meeting will be held at 6 p.m. June 4 (Wednesday) in the Flagler County Commission Chambers at the Government Services Building, 1769 E. Moody Boulevard, Building 2, Bunnell.
