FDOT will have nighttime I-95 ramp closure May 21

The I-95 and Old Dixie Highway interchange, both north and southbound, will be closed over night beginning 10 p.m. on May 21.

Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing nighttime Interstate 95 (I-95) ramp closures at the Old Dixie Highway (Exit 278) interchange as early as Wednesday, May 21, for ramp work.

Please see the anticipated closure schedule below:

  • The I-95 northbound and southbound off ramps to Old Dixie Highway (Exit 278) will be closed overnight from 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, to 5 a.m. Thursday, May 22.

Detour information:

  • Motorists traveling north on I-95 who wish to access Old Dixie Highway should take Exit 273 at U.S. 1 and continue north on U.S. 1 to Old Dixie Highway.
  • Motorists traveling south on I-95 who wish to access Old Dixie Highway should take Exit 273 at U.S. 1 and continue north to Old Dixie Highway.

FDOT advises motorists to reduce speed, follow posted signage, and exercise extra caution in the work zone. Construction schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
