Tractor truck driver killed on I-95 in Flagler County after vehicle hits tree, catches fire

A Florida Highway Patrol report said the tractor truck veered off the road as it was traveling south.

A tractor truck driver was killed in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 on March 10 when the truck hit a tree and become engulfed in flames.

The accident happened at 4:08 p.m. in the southbound lanes near mile marker 290 in Flagler County, a Florida Highway Patrol press release said. Witnesses said the truck gradually veered off the road, onto the grass and into the wood line.

The truck hit a tree and then caught fire, becoming fully engulfed in flames, the press release said.
