An intersection on Florida Park Drive will be closed for approximately one week, beginning May 28, as a new wastewater force main is installed.

The Palm Coast Utility Department will be working on the installation from he intersection at Palm Harbor Parkway to Forest Hill Drive. As a result, the intersection of Florida Park Drive and Forest Hill Drive will be temporarily closed for the first phase of the maintenance work, a Palm Coast press release said.

The wastewater main will be installed along the north side of Florida Park Drive.

Alternative routes will be clearly marked during the closure. After the intersection is reopened, the press release said, intermittent lane closures will occur along Florida Park Drive at the Florida Park-Forest Hill intersection over the next two to three weeks as the pipeline installation continues.

The overall project should be completed by mid-June 2024, the press release said.

Residents with questions or in need of further information are encouraged to contact the Utility Department's customer service team at 386-986-2360 or submit a case online at PalmCoast.gov/connect.
