It is a common misconception that the game of bridge is only for the elderly. However, the Palm Coast Bridge Club is breaking the mold with almost 300 members ranging in age from 13 to 96.
'The game keeps the mind young,' said club member Tom McMullin.
The club was started in 2008 and holds games six days a week: 1 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church, 303 Palm Coast Parkway N.E.
The cost of an annual membership to the club is $15. Members are charged $4 to play and nonmembers $5.
