Originally choreographed by Marius Petipa, Don Quixote tells the story of Kitri and Basilio as they fight for their love while the adventurous Don Quixote journeys through a world of imagination and comedy, according to a press release. EPAC ballet teacher Patricia Santamarina is restaging and choreographing the production, which will feature EPAC's pro-track dancers, adult dancers and professional ballet dancer Mauricio Mejia.

The second half of the production will feature EPAC's original ballet rendition of Aladdin. The Genie will played by Donovan Ramos, Princess Jasmine by Olivia Kushner, Aladdin by Jordanny Rivera Hicano and Jafara by Alayna Byrom.

EPAC states that Byrom's journey has been inspiring.

"She has been dancing since she was a young child and has always dreamed of pursuing ballet professionally," the press release states. "In this production, she will perform the lead role of Kitri in Don Quixote, where she has the exciting opportunity to partner with a professional dancer, as well as the role of Jafara in Aladdin. In addition to these demanding roles, she continues to reach major milestones in her training. Recently, she was accepted into the prestigious six-week Summer Intensive with Cincinnati Ballet in Chicago, as well as the Trainee Program at The Florida Ballet, where she will begin this August."
