Jeffrey Daniel Alden, 54, of Bunnell, passed away July 25, 2026 at home after a courageous battle against cancer. Born in Brockton, MA, he grew up in Clarkston in DeKalb County GA. Jeffrey was the fiancé of Mary Boland, of Bunnell, and the son of Thomas Alden of MA and the late Dorothea (Wentworth) Alden.
Jeffrey worked as an insurance adjuster for many years. He enjoyed playing football in college at Georgia Southern University. In his spare time he enjoyed watching all sports, especially football, and was huge fan of Tom Brady. His favorite hobbies were spending quality time at home watching videos, hunting, and fishing. Jeff was also a wonderful cook who truly enjoyed feeding his family and friends. Jeff was known for being very charming with a wonderful sense of humor. Jeffrey was a proud veteran, having served in the US Army.
Jeffrey is survived by his brothers Thomas (Tommy) L. Alden Jr. and James (Jamie) G. Alden.
Private services are under the care and direction of Lotus Funeral Services, 460 Palm Coast Pkwy, Ste 3, Palm Coast. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Specialists of North Florida Patient Assistance Foundation.
