Friday, July 4

Stars and Stripes parade

When: 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Where: North 6th Street to South 6th Street along A1A, Flagler Beach

Details: The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach will present its annual parade, following its traditional route, for the Fourth of July. Free.

United Flagler 4th

When: 6-9 p.m.

Where: Flagler Executive Airport, 201 Airport Road, Palm Coast

Details: Flagler County residents and visitors are invited to the United Flagler 4th Community Celebration, hosted by Flagler County Government and the cities of Palm Coast, Flagler Beach and Bunnell. Gates open at 5 p.m. and fireworks start at 9 p.m. There will be vendors, a beer garden, kids' activities and a main stage with a DJ. At 6:30 p.m., local officials will recite the Declaration of Independence. Free event.

Independence Day Celebration

When: 8-9:30 p.m.

Where: Rockefeller Gardens, 26 Riverside Drive, Ormond Beach

Details: Join the city of Ormond Beach for its annual Fourth of July fireworks display. Live music begins at 8 p.m. The shuttle buses will start at 7:30 p.m.and the last shuttle will leave at 9:45 p.m. Fireworks at 9 p.m. Call 386-676-3241.

Saturday, July 5

Ormond Art Walk

When: 3-7 p.m.

Where: Ormond Beach MainStreet Arts District, 128 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach

Details: Join Ocean Art Gallery, Frame of Mind, Art Spotlight, The Studio by Artist Angel Lowden, the Ormond Memorial Art Museum and more on the first Saturday of each month for art openings and art events.

Monday, July 7

Vacation Bible School

When: 5-7:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, July 7-11

Where: First Baptist Church of Palm Coast, 6050 Palm Coast Parkway Northwest, Palm Coast

Details: First Baptist Church of Palm Coast's Vacation Bible School is open to children in pre-K4 to eighth grade. Adult sessions will be held on Tuesday and Thursday. Register for free at FBCPC.org.

Watercolor workshop

Moonrise at the beach

When: 8:30-9:15 p.m. 

Where: Gamble Rogers Memorial State Park, 3100 S Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach

Details: Take in the view of the moon rising over the Atlantic Ocean. Bring binoculars and a camera for photo opportunities. Entrance into the park is $5 per vehicle. Call 386-517-2086.

Turtle Talk

Where: Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreational Area, 3100 S. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach

Details: Learn about the role sea turtles play in Florida and how your actions can help preserve these animals for generations. All ages welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Park entry fee applies.
