SUV crash kills 17-year-old from Palm Coast, in Flagler County

Four passengers survived, one with minor injuries

A 17-year-old driver from Palm Coast died in a crash at 12:17 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred on Quick Street in Flagler County. A sport utility vehicle was traveling eastbound on Quick Street. It then traveled into the westbound lane toward a ditch filled with water. The SUV struck the ditch and overturned, resting on its roof.

There were five passengers of the SUV, and all survived. A 16-year-old Palm Coast girl had minor injuries; no injuries were sustained by the others, a 19-year-old Palm Coast woman, an 18-year-old Satsuma man, another 16-year-old Palm Coast girl, and a 16-year-old Palm Coast boy.
