The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit and FCSO SWAT team executed a narcotics search warrant on Big Bear Lane in Palm Coast early Tuesday morning, Jan. 5, arresting 34-year-old Michael Tyrone Jackson on multiple charges.

“I’d like to thank the community for reporting the drug activity occurring at this residence, and our drug agents and SWAT team for their outstanding work,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “This is Jackson’s first run in with the FCSO and I hope, for his sake, that it is his last. If you want to sell illegal drugs in Flagler County, our deputies will find you, and we will bring you to jail.”

The search warrant stemmed from previous undercover operations conducted by SIU in response to citizen complaints.

Deputies found Jacksoninside the home. Detectives located Alprazolam pills, THC concentrate, and drug paraphernalia, and FCSO K-9 units assisted with a sweep of the residence for additional narcotics.

They also found a loaded firearm and a substance believed to be narcotics, which will be sent to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement crime lab for chemical analysis.

Jackson was arrested and charged with Possession of Alprazolam, Possession of THC and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was booked into the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility where he is being held on a $5,500 bond. Additional charges may be added.
