Florida gubernatorial candidate and U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds spent the weekend campaigning across Flagler County alongside campaign team member Jearlyn “Pastor J” Dennie. According to Dennie, Donalds' visit included a stop at the Defending the Florida Dream Tour event at the VFW in Palm Coast, breakfast at Southern Table in Bunnell, worship services at New Way Church in Palm Coast and door-to-door campaigning in Flagler Beach. Dennie said Donalds took time to meet with residents throughout the county, answer questions and pose for photos. She described the response as overwhelmingly positive and said the congressman particularly enjoyed canvassing neighborhoods and speaking directly with voters. Donalds is seeking the Republican nomination for governor and has received President Donald Trump's endorsement.
