The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs had no problems rolling the West Port Wolf Pack 41-0 on Monday, Oct. 6, at FPC High School.

The game was rescheduled, due to a thunderstorm on Friday, but the Bulldogs seemed to remain focus over the weekend. FPC’s win was a team win, as everyone who played contributed to the victory.

The area’s Top rusher, Que’Shaun Byrd, had an explosive night, running for more than 200 yards and 3 touchdowns mostly in the first half. Byrd scored on a pair of 17-yard runs and a 98-yard run.

Senior Jimmie Robinson scored a 1-yard touchdown, blocked a field goal and intercepted a pass all in the first half. Byrd’s backup, L’Darius5 Smith, came in and rushed for 142 yards, which included a 47-yard touchdown. Caleb Tassy finished off the Wolf Pack with an 11-yard touchdown to inflict the mercy rule in the fourth quarter with the score being 41-0.

“About his big night, Byrd said, “As long as I keep God first, the sky is the limit. I have to give my linemen a lot of the credit for the great blocks. Without them I couldn't do it.”

The Bulldogs’ only loss this season came against the University Titans, the only game that Byrd couldn’t play due to injury.
“If I would have played, it might have been a different outcome,” Byrd added.

The Bulldogs will have a quick turnaround, as they set their sights on the Palatka Panthers Friday, Oct. 10, at Flagler Palm Coast High.
