Pink Champaign, pink treats and pink tumbler glasses filled in tables at the Flagler Beachfront Winery Oct 1, during its Pretty in Pink Party to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“Supporting this cause means a great deal to me,” said Kelly Tarsitano, who owns the winery with her husband, Ken. “Not only have we been touched by breast cancer in our family, but in our family of customers.”

The Wednesday evening event was the first of several events planned at the winery to support the Florida Hospital Flagler’s Pink Army
.
“We have a younger clientele here at the winery that really support us and if we can increase awareness but at the same time support the Pink Army, where the money stays here and supports our women right here. It’s perfect.”
