No horsin' around: Seven horseshoe tourneys coming to Flagler

The Flagler County Horseshoe Pitching Club, in conjunction with Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches tourism office, announced June 26 that seven major horseshoe tournaments will be coming to Flagler between now and 2015.

The tournaments are expected to attract pitchers from Florida and the southeastern United States.

“I am ready for the challenge,” said Tom Martone, president of the club.

The tournaments will be held at the horseshoe courts, which are at Old Dixie Park, located on South Old Dixie Highway.
