One dead in tractor-trailer crash on I-95 in Ormond Beach

The crash occurred at about 2:48 a.m. Thursday in the southbound lanes of I-95 at mile marker 276.

One person has died in a crash early Thursday morning involving two tractor-trailers on I-95 in Ormond Beach, Florida Highway Patrol reported.

The crash occurred at about 2:48 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-95 at mile marker 276. FHP states the events leading up to the crash are currently under investigation.

A roadblock is in place for the southbound lanes of I-95 and traffic is being diverted to the exit ramp at mile marker 278.
