How sweep it is! Palm Coast tennis stars wins big
It was an all-Bunnell Elemetaryu School championship June 22, in the boys 10-and-under finals of the USTA Super Series event, in Casselberry.

Ilya Korolev defeated Eric Berenblit in two sets, 4-2 and 4-0. Berenblit also attends Bunnell Elementary School.

Both are pupils of tennis coach Michael Ouvarov.

However, after the singles finals, both Korolev and Berenblit teamed up to take the doubles championship in the boys 10-and-under division.

Other notable performances for Palm Coast juniors at the same event were as follows: Karina Dergunova reaching the 10-and-under girls final; and Zia Kara, for reaching the girls 14-and-under final.

Kara is from Toronto, Canada, but has been coached by Ouvarov for the last six months. Her family is in the process of moving to Palm Coast to continue to train with Ouvarov.
