If there are any teams that can defeat Flagler Palm Coast wrestling, the Bulldogs haven’t faced them yet.

FPC won seven dual meets over the weekend at the Gainesville Buchholz Duals, improving to 13-0 this season under coach Tom Bartolotta.

At the tournament, nine Bulldogs went undefeated or had just one loss.

And now, about midway through the season, FPC has six undefeated wrestlers. Those wrestlers are as follows: Zac Branning (106 and 113 pounds), 10-0; Jake Kosachiner (113 and 120), 13-0; Kax Maia (132 and 138), 13-0; Kory Bryl (145), 6-0; Jackson Trivett (152 and 160), 13-0; and Jonathan Muniz (195), 13-0.

At the Gainesville Buchholz Duals, Flagler Palm Coast defeated the following teams: Bradford County (72-9), Oakleaf (76-6), Buchholz (35-33), West Orange (57-15), Bishop Snyder (66-16) and North Marion (66-18).

Several FPC wrestlers, including Branning, Alfred Shavers Maia, Trivett and Evyn Insalaco defeated state-ranked wrestlers.

“We wrestled well this weekend, and we were missing seven wrestlers because of illness, injury and discipline issues,” Bartolotta said.

Flagler Palm Coast continues its season with a home meet against Titusville Astronaut on Dec. 18.
