The Flagler Palm Coast boys lacrosse team defeated St. Augustine, 21-9, Wednesday night to earn a spot in the District 6 lacrosse championship.

Despite being tied 4-4 early in the game, FPC went on to outscore St. Augustine, 17-5, en route to the win.

Wes Adams and Shane Noble combined to score 11 of the Bulldogs’ 21 goals.

“The boys are excited to play in the championship tomorrow and looking forward to laying it all out on the field,” FPC coach Ryan Andrews said.

Flagler Palm Coast (No. 1 seed) will play Pedro Menendez (No. 2 seed) 7 p.m. Friday, April 21, at Matanzas. FPC will be the home team because of seeding.

Matanzas (No. 3 seed) lost to Pedro Menendez, 5-1, in the other semifinal. 

Lady Bulldogs softball plays for district championship
Flagler Palm Coast softball (No. 1 seed) will play Mandarin (No. 2 seed) in the District 1-8A championship 6 p.m. Friday, April 20, at FPC.

FPC and Mandarin split the regular season series.
