Ice fishing, penguin bowling and snowball fights are three activities children who live in Florida don't get to experience - unless they attended the Winter Carnival Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Flagler County Public Library.
The first-time event was designed by Young Adult Coordinator Sharon Fiske for children in the community to learn what winter is like in the North.
Fiske said the event reminded her a little bit of home and what she does and does not miss.
