There were no pumpkins or mice at the World Golf Village Saturday, May 14, but there were about 400 Matanzas High School students dressed in their fairy tale finest for the junior/senior prom.

The theme, Always and Forever, based on the fairy tale Cinderella, inspired several princess-style dresses for the evening.

Ticket price included dinner, the dance, and a picture package provided by Cady and Cady Studios.

Every fairy tale has a royal family and the 2011 MHS prom was no exception. Prom king and queen crowns went to Thomas Bradly and Sephandany Reach. Shawn White and Ashley Znascko won junior prince and princess.

Other court members: king: Jairockis Jones, Garret Demis, Kyle Greene and Kevin Nguyen; queen: Tatiana Goncalves, Akeda Marcano, Nicole Cataggio and Kayla Doughtery; prince: Hunter Fromm, Jonathan Lambright and Carlton Mujalili; princess: Lexi O’Keefe, Taylor Gross, Julianna Bell, McKenzie Schofield and Breanna Schmuck.
