Passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of strength and unforgettable memories.
He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Wilma, and a father to Deborah Maltese, Christine Guckian, Eileen Alfano, and Louis J. Franze. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Lisa Cottrell, Steven McCarthy, and Tommy McCarthy, and his ten grandchildren.
Louis worked as a service manager at Curry Chevrolet and was known for his incredible skill as a handyman. He could rip down walls and renovate homes with speed and precision, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
He belonged to the Corvette Club for many years and had a special gift for storytelling, along with an uncanny memory for names, stories, and moments. He especially loved sharing the story of how he and his sister shared the same birthday—one he would never forget.
One of his hidden talents was painting; he enjoyed creating pictures on canvas, a quiet expression of his creativity.
His presence made people feel at home, and he will be missed more than words can express.
Funeral services will be held on May 13 @ 230 Lohmans funeral in Palm Coast.
