The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man who exposed himself to a minor in a fast-food drive-thru.

On April 24, deputies responded to a reported sexual offense at Chick-fil-A on State Road 100 in Palm Coast. Deputies spoke to the victim — a minor — who stated that a customer exposed his genitals to her while she was working at the drive-thru window.

The victim told deputies that she was handing the customer his food and saw his exposed genitals with a blueish-green circular object, which she believed to be a sex toy, around his penis. The victim described the customer as an older white male with a long beard, who provided the name “Luke.”

Deputies reviewed surveillance footage and identified the suspected vehicle, which was registered to Luke Dudkewic, 33, of Palm Coast.

Deputies spoke with Dudkewic at his residence and he confirmed that he had gone through the Chick-fil-A drive-thru earlier that day. He also confirmed that he owned a blueish-green vibrating sex toy, which he had with him in the car. However, he denied that he was wearing it at the time and denied having his genitals exposed.

Deputies and Major Case Unit detectives conducted multiple follow-up interviews with Dudkewic. During the second interview, Dudkewic changed his initial statement, telling deputies he was wearing the sex toy while going through the restaurant’s drive thru. In a later interview with detectives, Dudkewic stated he was testing a mode on the device which would adjust the vibration speed based on how fast he was travelling and had put it on after leaving work.

Throughout the interviews, Dudkewic denied exposing his genitals. He stated that he did not believe his genitals or the device would be visible under his shorts but may have accidentally “popped out.”

At the conclusion of their investigation, detectives determined Dudkewic intentionally exposed his genitals by wearing the device while going through the drive-thru where it could be seen. On April 30, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for lewd or lascivious exhibition by an offender 18 years of age or older in the presence of a victim who is less than 16 years of age.

“This pervert knew what he was doing and purposely went through a drive-thru exposing himself for his own perverted gratification," said Sheriff Rick Staly. "It's unfortunate that a young employee just doing her job to make some money had to be exposed to such a pervert. Our deputies and Major Case detectives did a great job quickly investigating and getting this pervert arrested."

The FCSO Fugitive Unit and Problem Area Crime Enforcement Unit located and arrested Dudkewic at his residence. He was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where he was later released on a $10,000 bond. As conditions of his release, Dudkewic is prohibited from having contact with minors or utilizing drive-thru facilities.
