Dear Editor:
I first met Eric Yonce [who is running for U.S. House of Representatives, District 6, in the Democratic primary] when he and his girlfriend, Jess, came to our neighborhood garage sale.
They stood in front of my driveway in the heat for five hours as Eric introduced himself and listened to bargain hunters share their thoughts and concerns about our current political situation. Eric genuinely listened — he didn't interject his own opinions, but truly took the time to hear what fellow Republicans, Democrats and independents had to say.
Since then, he has been a consistent voice of reason throughout Palm Coast and Flagler County. He is incredibly easy to talk to and deeply committed to working hard for the middle class. Eric has earned my trust, and he will absolutely have my vote in the August primaries to represent our community in Washington.
