Six Flagler County high school seniors, who have committed to serving in the military after graduation, received their honor cords at the Robert J. Beck Military Service Honor Cord Ceremony.
The honor cords are awarded to students enlisting in the U.S. Armed Forces, attending a military service academy or participating in an ROTC program. This year's honor cord recipients are:
The students will be able to wear their honor cords at graduation. Delgado was also recently awarded with a $180,000 Naval ROTC scholarship Marine Corps option.
Flagler Schools’ Doug Glasco was the guest speaker at the honor cord ceremony.
