Bunnell History Day on Saturday, June 7, will be so much more than a kids' zone, vendors, mechanical bull rides, antique car show, wine/beer tent and food trucks. It will celebrate the history and heritage of Bunnell.

You will meet reenactors who represent 200 years of history. You'll listen to vetted lecturers presenting topics such as voting rights, slavery and music history. You'll see an art gallery, an art auction and the unveiling of an original JJ Graham artwork depicting Bunnell.

This event will feature a variety of activities designed to educate the community about its historical significance, including exhibits, presentations, and fun activities for families and children.

Create your schedule! Enjoy a lecture, have lunch, follow the history trail at EJ Park, submit a bid on important art, enjoy free birthday cake and win the raffle!

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Two lectures will be presented at the Carver Center and one will be held in the Methodist Church sanctuary. Participants can explore local historical sites, engage with historians and local experts and learn about the city's founding, significant events and notable figures from the area.

Bunnell History Day will also include local vendors, food, music and entertainment, creating a festive atmosphere. Most importantly, in addition to celebrating local history, the event serves as a platform for fostering community engagement, promoting local culture and encouraging residents and visitors to appreciate the rich history of Bunnell and the surrounding region.
