Meet Peggy and the two bonded pairs: Prince and Princess and Baby and Blue Bell.

Peggy, 2, was transferred to the Flagler Humane Society on May 10. She is a sweet, intelligent female who is always ready with a wagging tail. She’s a quick learner, loves to cuddle and gets along well with both other dogs and new human friends.

Bonded pair Prince, 6, and Princess, 5, are Papillon breeds. They were brought to the shelter after their owner recently died. The two are a little afraid of their new environment, so those interested in adopting should come by the shelter to introduce themselves first.

Bonded pair Baby, a 9-year-old male shepherd mix, and Blue Bell, a 6-year-old female terrier mix, were found together as strays in December 2022. Baby is shy at first but rewards those who earn his trust with unwavering loyalty and sweetness. Blue Bell is friendly and playful right away, with both dogs and people. The pair are inseparably bonded. Their adoption fees have also been sponsored.

Adoption fees vary based on the animal, and the shelter has both dogs and cats up for adoption.

Anyone who is interested in adopting or has questions about the process can contact the Flagler Humane Society at 386-445-1814 or apply online at flaglerhumanesociety.org.
