The Friends of the Ormond Beach Library are bringing Gatorland to Ormond Beach.

Gatorland's "Animal Encounter" program is scheduled to take place in the Ormond Beach Library Auditorium, located at 30 S. Beach St., at 2 p.m. on Feb. 22.

This educational program will feature a knowledgeable wrangler who will share stories of close encounters with some of Florida’s most feared creatures.  Learn which species of animals make good pets and which are better left alone in the wild. Discover fascinating facts about snakes, alligators, tarantulas and more.

There will be an opportunity to meet them all up close at the end of the program as well. The program is free and open to the community.
