Ormond-by-the-Sea Lions offer $1,000 scholarship

The scholarship will be granted to a graduating high school senior who lives in Ormond-by-the-Sea or Ormond Beach.

The Ormond By The Sea Lions Foundation, Inc. is offering a $1,000 Al Weeks Sr., Memorial Scholarship to a graduating senior from a local high school.

The student must be a resident of Ormond-by-the-Sea or Ormond Beach with plans to attend an accredited college, university, business or trade school in 2024, according to a press release. This scholarship is for tuition, fees or books and will be written jointly to the scholarship recipient and the college or university. The deadline for applications is March 15.
