The Palm Coast city government is launching "Imagine 2050," a comprehensive plan update that invites residents to provide input during a series of upcoming events.

A comprehensive plan is like a roadmap to guide how the city develops.

"Imagine having a say in the parks you visit, the roads you drive on, the schools your children attend, and so much more," a city of Palm Coast news release states. "These events are your opportunity to be a part of the decision-making process that will shape our city's destiny."

The city will hold a public engagement kick-off event at 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Palm Coast Community Center at 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE, according to a Palm Coast news release. Residents can share ideas at this drop-in-style event, which will include interactive activities and a project overview.

The preceding day, Tuesday, Oct. 10, the City Council and Planning Board will discuss goals for Imagine 2050 after the council's 9 a.m. meeting at City Hall. Residents are invited to tune in.

More Imagine 2050 events will follow in the coming months.
