The Central Florida Chapter of the CCIM Institute held its Foundations for Success in Commercial Real Estate accredited course at Bethune-Cookman University last month.

Senior Instructor Emeritus Blaine Strickland taught the two-day course at the historically-Black university, where traditionally a real estate education for diverse students was hard to access, according to a statement to the Observer. John Crossman, president of Crossman Career Builders and CrossMarc Services, and his family have endowed full scholarships at B-CU for students pursuing careers in commercial real estate.
