Elite Academy of Music and Motion to host clinic by U.S. Army Fife and Drum Corps snare drummer

The Elite Academy of Music and Motion will be hosting one of the nation's top snare percussionists for a one-day clinic on Monday, Nov. 20.

Cristian Rodriguez, a Spruce Creek High School alumnus, is a snare drummer with the U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps in Washington, D.C. He was part of the Florida National Guard 13th Army Band for six years, participating in emergency relief and military funeral honors, according to his bio.

Rodriguez has been part of performances across the U.S., including the White House, having performed for multiple presidents and foreign dignitaries.

Tickets to the clinic cost $40. Seats are limited. The clinic will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Elite Academy of Music and Motion, located at 719 S. Nova Road in Ormond Beach.
