The Palmetto Club presents its annual high school senior scholarship awards

Five seniors were selected, each receiving an award of $1,000.

At The Palmetto Club’s May meeting, President Diane Lessard and Scholarship Chair Victoria Teel presented the club’s annual high school scholarship awards.

Five seniors each received an award of $1,000:

Angel Methas, New Smyrna Beach High School. She will attend New College of Florida. The award was funded by Diane Rogers and Jan Schmeider.
Ella Moore, Spruce Creek High School. She will attend Dartmouth. The award was funded by The Palmetto Club Past Presidents’ Scholarship.
Ginikachi Okoh, Mainland High School. She will attend Daytona State College. The award was funded by a Palmetto Club member.
Vivien Sallai, Seabreeze High School. She will attend the University of South Florida. The award was funded by The Palmetto Club.
Jasmin Washington, Atlantic High School. She will attend Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. The award was funded by The Palmetto Club.

The award ceremony featured a luncheon catered by CEI Catering and Events at The Palmetto Club, located at 1000 S. Beach St. in Daytona Beach.
