The Palmetto Club presents its annual high school senior scholarship awards

Five seniors were selected, each receiving an award of $1,000.

At The Palmetto Club’s May meeting, President Diane Lessard and Scholarship Chair Victoria Teel presented the club’s annual high school scholarship awards.

 Five seniors each received an award of $1,000:

  • Angel Methas, New Smyrna Beach High School. She will attend New College of Florida. The award was funded by Diane Rogers and Jan Schmeider.
  • Ella Moore, Spruce Creek High School. She will attend Dartmouth. The award was funded by The Palmetto Club Past Presidents’ Scholarship.
  • Ginikachi Okoh, Mainland High School. She will attend Daytona State College. The award was funded by a Palmetto Club member.
  • Vivien Sallai, Seabreeze High School. She will attend the University of South Florida. The award was funded by The Palmetto Club.
  • Jasmin Washington, Atlantic High School. She will attend Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. The award was funded by The Palmetto Club.

The award ceremony featured a luncheon catered by CEI Catering and Events at The Palmetto Club, located at 1000 S. Beach St. in Daytona Beach.
