Charles Zulauf, loving husband and father,  passed away peacefully at home in Palm Coast FL on November 30th  at the age of 92.

Charles is survived by his wife of 70 years Barbara, his daughters Penny, Paula, and Patty(Eric), son Edward(Lesa) and grandsons Colin, Justin and Ryan, several in-laws and many nieces and nephews, and his cat Munchkin.   He was predeceased by his daughter Pamela and his sister Elizabeth.

Charles was born in Bellefontaine, OH on December 25, 1930 to Warner and Georgia Zulauf.   After graduating from high school he enlisted in the Air Force and served as a radio operator on the island of Okinawa during the Korean War.

On leaving the military and working as a truck driver for a number of years, Charles moved from Ohio to Skaneateles, NY where he and Barbara raised their five children while he served as Director of Transportation at Red Star Express Lines in Auburn NY.

After retiring Charles and Barbara moved to Haines City, FL for 10 years before moving to Palm Coast, FL to be closer to family.   He was a lifelong member of the Elks Club in Willard, OH and an avid coin collector, but his favorite hobby was helping others.

Charles was a man of few words but spoke through his actions. He was kind and generous and a man of great moral character.   He was always willing to help both strangers and friends.    Charles will be greatly missed by all that knew him but will remain in their hearts forever.

There will be no public services per his request.
