Nine-month-old Zen was adopted as a puppy from the shelter in May but was recently returned on Nov. 29 through no fault of his own. He is a loving, playful male who gets along well with other dogs and has lived well with young children. Zen would make a great family dog. Photo courtesy of the Flagler Humane Society

Meet Bones, Skye, Rubble and Zen, Flagler Humane Society's featured Pets of the Week.

Bones, just 11 months old, was found as a stray in Flagler Beach in October. Bones was given his name because of how skinny he was, with his rib and hip bones showing. He has since gained weight, and this loving, playful male is ready to find his forever family.

Skye, 3, was surrendered to the shelter on Sept. 18. She is great with people, listens well, is house-trained and walks well on a leash. Skye is best suited to a home without other pets.

Rubble, 1, is an affectionate male coonhound who was adopted from the shelter as a puppy but was returned in October, through no fault of his own. Rubble has lived well with cats and dogs. He has some separation anxiety and would do best with an understanding owner.
