2022 Safety Expo

Details: Flagler County Sheriff's Office is inviting the public to its 2022 Safety Expo. Citizens will learn about resources that aid in crime prevention, personal and family safety. There will be SWAT vehicles, marine vehicles, a DUI simulator, shoot-don't-shoot simulator and K-9s. McGruff will also be there with Smoky Bear.

Live Like Cameron's fifth-annual Flagler Warrior 5K Fun run/walk

Where: Central Park in Town Center, 975 Central Ave., Palm Coast
Details: Take part in the fifth-annual 5K Fun Run/Walk to support local children battling childhood cancer. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. and the opening ceremony will begin at 8 a.m. All proceeds will benefit Live Like Cameron, a local nonprofit that provides financial assistance to Flagler County families with childhood cancer and provides "Bags of Hope" to children with cancer while hospitalized. September is childhood cancer month, so the nonprofit encourages all runners to wear gold. Registration costs $30. Children 5 and under are free.
