Country star Brian Kelley writes tribute to home state in 'Florida Strong'

The Ormond Beach native is donating 100% of the royalties to the American Red Cross and Florida Disaster Fund, equally, to support hurricane relief through Dec. 31.

Country star and Ormond Beach native Brian Kelley delivered a tribute on Friday, Nov. 18, to the state of Florida by way of his new song, "Florida Strong" via Big Machine Records.

According to a press release, Kelley is donating 100% of the royalties to the American Red Cross and Florida Disaster Fund, equally, to support hurricane relief through Dec. 31.

In "Florida Strong," Brian Kelley shares a message of resilience, vowing to pick up the pieces after Hurricane Ian.

“My parents raised me knowing that everyone in my home state of Florida is a neighbor, and we help when and however we can," Kelley said in the press release. "I was sitting at my kitchen table a couple days after Hurricane Ian hit, praying for the recovery and wanting to help. Next thing I knew, ‘Florida Strong’ just poured out of me."

In "Florida Strong," Kelley shares a message of resilience, vowing to pick up the pieces after Hurricane Ian. The song was written and produced by Kelley alongside Katlin Owen.
