Three dogs and one cat have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first dog is Nala, an 8-year-old Labrador retriever mix with a brown coat. She is a sweet pup, and loves to snuggle with her humans, but would do best in a household with no other animals, including cats. Nala would also thrive in a household with no small children. Her adoption fee is $70.

The next is Tia, a 7-year-old mixed breed dog with a white and brown coat. She enjoys walks and playing in the yard, and would do best in a home with no cats. However, she might enjoy having another dog around. Her adoption fee is $70, and a portion of it has been paid already thanks to a donor.

Last but not least is Eleanor, an 8-year-old Maine Coon with a grey coat. This cat is sometimes playful and other times prefers to sleep, so having a bed, cat tree or perch may come in handy. Her adoption fee is $75.
