Three dogs and one cat have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first dog is Max, a 2-year-old terrier and American pit bull mix with a red and white coat. Call for adoption fee.

The second is Bear, a 2-year-old Pharaoh hound and American Staffordshire mix with a black and white coat. He originally arrived to the Halifax Humane Society as a stray, and no one ever claimed him. He has had a hard time adjusting to life at the shelter and tends to be a bit anxious. He is also a "huge talker," and likes to bark. Call for adoption fee.
