Three dogs and one cat have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first dog is Lincoln, an 11-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a black and white coat. He originally arrived at the Halifax Humane Society as a stray in 2017 and has since been adopted and returned a total of seven times. He would do best in a household with no other male dogs and no cats. Lincoln recently developed separation anxiety and storm anxiety and would greatly benefit from a home that is familiar with both types. He is great with children and loves to play fetch. His adoption fee is $35.

The second is Spike, an 8-year-old mixed breed dog with a brown and white coat. He is a happy, excited pup that loves to play fetch, walk and run all around. A quiet home with kind owners would go a long way with him. His adoption fee is $35.

The third is Lolita, a 9-year-old American Staffordshire terrier mix with a brown oat. She arrived at the shelter in August of 2021 after her owner decided they couldn't take care of her anymore. She would do best in a household with no other dogs or cats. Lolita enjoys going for car rides, short walks and taking naps with her blankie. Call for adoption fee.

Last but not least is Clawd, a 2-year-old domestic medium-haired cat with a grey and white coat. He is more of a loner and outdoor cat, according to HHS, but he is friendly. He would be best suited for a working facility such as a barn, factory, industrial complex or similar environment. Call for adoption fee.
