United Way funds over $1.2 million to partner agencies

The money support programs that support health, transition people into housing and help children meet developmental milestones.

In 2021-2022, the first year of a two-year funding cycle, United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties provided almost $1.24 million in grants to support 18 agencies, according to a news release. 

Program successes included helping 2,644 children meet developmental milestones, helping 88% of clients improve health, and supporting 83% of clients to transition from homelessness to housing, according to the news release.
