The Ormond Beach Historical Society is beginning a biannual online history journal, and the first edition will be published in December, according to the organization's Nov. 29 newsletter.

The Historical Society is requesting articles, oral histories, postcards, photographs or other pieces of information about the history of the Ormond Beach area that could be compiled into an article. Articles of historic importance about the state of Florida as a whole are also acceptable, the newsletter states. Submissions up to 2,500 words can be researched articles, recollections, oral histories or short stories, and should be prepared in Microsoft Word using Times New Roman 12-point font and be double-spaced.

Drop off your submission or mail it to the OBHS office at 38 E. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL 32176; submissions, or questions, may also be emailed to Randy Jaye at [email protected].
