Carol Ann Sutton
1946-2022

On July 28, 2022 the Angels of God came to carry his child home. Born January 13, 1946 to the late Raymond and Theresa Sutton of Patton, PA. Beautiful memories of Carol’s kindness and gentleness will be cherished by her family and friends.

She was born and raised in Patton, PA and at 17 she moved to VA to work for the Federal Government in Washington, D.C. She retired after 39 year career as a management analyst for the Federal Department of Transportation and in 2001 moved to Palm Coast, FL and enjoyed her retirement years in sunny Florida.

She was a faithful member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and donated financially and to the food pantries every month. She was a member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program in Flagler County and participated in various volunteer programs throughout Flagler county. Her favorite was as a volunteer at the Flagler Humane Society since 2003. She enjoyed working with all the homeless cats up for adoption at Pet Smart and gave a forever home to a number of cats that she called her joy in life and her fur babies.

Spending time with her family and friends was a joy she cherished the most.

Carol loved to cook and entertain her friends. Spending time with her family and friends was a joy she cherished the most.

She traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe which included numerous cruises. She also enjoyed visiting casinos and playing the slots.

She is survived by her brother, William F (Helen) Sutton, and niece Nichole, of Moon Township, PA, and her cousin Barbara Barajas who assisted her for years, as well as her beloved cats Rocky and Bella.

She will be laid to rest in Patton, PA, along side her mother and father at Queen of Peace cemetery. FL funeral arrangements by Lohman’s Funeral Home. A viewing was held on Wednesday, August 3, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, followed by a mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the Flagler Humane Society in Carol’s name.
