Vandalism. An 84-year-old Ormond Beach woman called police after she discovered the glass of her patio table had been shattered.

According to the police report, the woman had heard a "loud bang" the night before coming from her back porch, which scared her and her cat. Initially, she thought it was a gun shot, as she spotted an unknown white man with red hair standing on the sidewalk with an object in his hand.

She further investigated in the incident in the morning, and saw the damage to her patio table. The reporting officer located a rock within the glass shards. He noted that there have been issues with cats in the area, and that it was possible the suspect was trying to throw the rock at the cat.
