Sea turtle program

When: 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Where: Ocean Art Gallery, 197 E. Granada Blvd.

Details: Ocean Art Gallery presents Ryan Chabot, Volusia County Sea Turtle HCP program manager, for a sea turtle program. Seating capped at 20. Call 317-9400 to reserve a spot.

OBMS 5K run/walk

When: 8:30-10:30 a.m.

Where: Ormond Beach Public Library, 30 S. Beach St.

Details: The Ormond Beach Middle School PTSA is hosting its second-annual OBMS 5K run/walk. Proceeds to benefit students and teachers at the school. Taste of Ormond

When: 4-7 p.m.

Where: Pavilion at Destination Daytona, 1651 U.S. 1.

Details: Ormond's foodie part is returning for the eighth year after a delay due to the pandemic. From dishes like a filet and goat cheese empanada from Blau to vegan ginger sesame teriyaki bites from Future foods, you can sample more than two dozen of Ormond's best restaurants and chefs. Details: Take a look inside the creative process with artist Karlene McConnell with a talk in the garden gazebo. She'll discuss her inspiration, subject matter, and past artists who influenced her style. Please bring a notebook and pen as McConnell will lead some written exercises. Free event.
