Thursday, March 25

Little River Band performance

When: 8 p.m.

Where: Daytona Beach Oceanfront Bandshell, 70 Boardwalk

Details: See the Little River Band perform their hits from the 70s and 80s, including "Reminiscing," "Cool Change" and "Take It Easy On Me." Face masks are required and social distancing will be implemented by arranging chairs in groups of two. Tickets are $69.75 for a pair.

Friday, March 26

31st-annual Spring Turkey run

When: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 26-27; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 28

Where: Daytona International Speedway, 1801 W. International Speedway Blvd.

Details: Come out and see thousands of classic cars for show and sale. Food, drink, music and an artisan alley will be available. Visit turkeyrun.com

Saturday, March 27

'The Finest Hour': True story off the Coast Guard's Most Daring Sea Rescue

When: 10-11 a.m.

Where: Online

Details: Listen as author Michael Tougias tell the tale of this historic 1952 event, as well as the making of the Disney movie. Hosted by the Ormond Beach Historical Society. Free. Visit ormondhistory.org

Florida's Shorebirds and Seabirds

When: 10-11 a.m. 

Where: Online

Details: Volusia County is hosting a virtual program with Jean Olbert, a shorebird biologist for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, who will explain the challenges of shorebirds building nests on beaches during the March-September breeding season. To register, call 789-7207, ext. #21028. An online link will be provided upon registration.

Ormond Strong Birthday - Canceled

When: 12-2 p.m.

Where: Veterans Museum and Education Center, 605 8th St.

Details: Join Ormond Strong in celebrating its sixth birthday with a ceremony honoring Vietnam vets. There will be live music, food and museum tours. After the birthday celebration, a 22-hour vigil will be held in memory of the veterans and first responders that die by suicide every day. The vigil will end at noon on Sunday.

Wednesday, March 31

Parks and Recreation master plan update public meeting

When: 6-8 p.m.

Where: South Ormond Neighborhood Center, 176 Division Ave.

Details: Residents are invited to share their thoughts and ideas for the future of parks and recreation in the city. Information gathered will be used to craft a new master plan. CDC guidelines will be observed. Visit ormondbeach.org

Pop-up window exhibit

Where: 9 W. Granada Blvd.

Details: This exhibit by Ormond Memorial Art Museum features art by local artists part of the Florida Women's Art Association. It will be on display until April 5.
