Thery Temperman McKinney
1951-2021
Thery Temperman McKinney, age 69, passed away peacefully at home with hospice on January 28, 2021 in Palm Coast, FL.
She was born on September 15, 1951 in New York, NY to Adriene Temperman and Berthe J. Gross. She studied arts at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. She was a great artist and poet. She did oil painting, calligraphy, illustrations, Book Arts and surface design.
She loved animals specially her cat Frankie and donated generously to ASPCA, Project K9 Hero, America’s Vetdogs, Best Friends Animal Society, Peaceful Donkey Rescue, and IFAW.
After she and her late Mom moved from Fort Lauderdale to Palm Coast, she taught arts at the Adult Community Center. She was also a member of the Friends of the Library of Flagler County, Inc. and numerous Art Guilds in Florida. Thery also supported the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. She enjoyed stamp collection. She loved animals specially her cat Frankie and donated generously to ASPCA, Project K9 Hero, America’s Vetdogs, Best Friends Animal Society, Peaceful Donkey Rescue, and IFAW.
She is survived by sister Nadine and adopted brother Max. Family, friends and others whose lives Thery touched will greatly miss her.
